How Does the FTP Calculator Work?
The FTP calculator computes your Functional Threshold Power (FTP) from your test result and automatically shows all 5 training zones based on the Coggan model.
20-minute test: Your average power is multiplied by 0.95, since you can sustain slightly more power for 20 minutes than for 60 minutes (your true FTP).
Ramp test: Your maximum 1-minute power is multiplied by 0.75. Faster to perform, similarly accurate.
